The 21st Colloque Louis Néel will take place from November 13th to 16th 2023 at the domaine du Lazaret, in Sète.
The Colloque Louis Néel is a French conference that has been held every 18 months since the early 1990s. It is the opportunity for over 200 scientists working on the properties of thin films and magnetic nanostructures to gather at a single location for 3 days. This conference, which federates the French magnetism community, is a privileged moment to take stock of recent advances in nanomagnetism and spin electronics, and also to structure new collaborations that will encourage the emergence of original and promising projects, in France and on the international scene.
One objective of the colloquium is to promote the work of doctoral and post-doctoral students. It constitutes a privileged moment for meetings and discussions, organized around oral contributions (presented by young researchers) and poster contributions.
This year, the colloquium will also be marking the beginning of the PEPR SPIN. The first afternoon, on Monday 13th of November, will be devoted to the scientific kick-off of the project.
